In Southern Asia this past year, the Bangladesh Assemblies of God has started 100 new churches. India has 5,000 Assemblies of God Churches and is planning to double that number within the next 7 years. Recently, in central Eurasia, one young lady from Turkmenistan (a closed country) who is studying in Kyrgyzstan University has given her heart to the Lord. Many young people are coming to Christ at this University.
Lakeview’s Missions Funds at Work
- Lakeview gives $5,775 in monthly support to 35 missionaries.
- Lakeview’s 2004 Prayer Task Force team and our support has helped launch “At the Well Ministries”, a coffee house outreach to prostitutes in Calcutta, India.
- In 2006, Lakeview sent a Prayer Task Force team, packed with several hundred Fire Bibles, to China.
- Assist missionaries Kerby and Sheila Rials as they plant 10 new churches in Russia.
- Assist Ron and Wanda Sommers as they establish a Leadership Center and an International Church in Mumbai, India.
- Assist Area Director Bill and Kim Snider as they produce evangelistic movies and videos.
