2010 World Missions – One King One Kingdom
Lakeview Church’s mission is to impact our world, not only in our communities, but also across our globe. Through the generous support and offerings from our congregation, we have been able to give more than $15 million to missions in the past 25 years!
Did You Know?
- 100% of your Missions Gift goes to World Missions.
- Missions is a self-funded ministry of Lakeview. Missions support does not come from the tithe, but its only means of support are through your Missions contributions.
- In 2009 and 2010, Missions will be funded from the FORWARD campaign at $300,000 per year.
- Currently Lakeview supports monthly 32 missionaries and missions organizations worldwide. We have 10 strategic partners, whom we partner with for projects and missions trips.
- In 2009-2010, Lakeview has committed to building a Bible College in the DR Congo with $50,000 of total support.
- Lakeview is also partnering with a church plant for Paris, France, led by Robby Bradford, who will be joined by several team members from Lakeview Church.
- Lakeview Church offers 4 to 6 short term missions trips each year. These trips are great opportunities to have a first hand view of missionaries and their ministries around the world and in the states.
- All Missions Trip participants are individually responsible for the cost of the trip, and are not funded from General Missions.
- Missions only funds trip project costs (construction materials, medical supplies, etc.).
- The cost of your Missions trip that you pay through the church is fully tax-deductible as a contribution.
