Life interest groups at Lakeview are small groups where you can connect with people who share your interests, people who are at a similar stage in life or people who have expertise in an area where you would like coaching. There is a wide variety of groups offered. For the active crowd, we have basketball, scrap booking and exercise groups, as well as all sorts of recreational and creative activities. Groups focused on parenting and marriage provide coaching in important life skills. Those facing all types of abuse, alcoholism, addictions, divorce, depression, disabilities and homosexuality will find people dealing with similar issues.
Children and youth meet in groups that address their needs for fun and friends. Young marrieds can join together in activities that nurture their marriages and provide for lifelong friendships. For seniors, there are groups where the skills they’ve spent a lifetime developing are used to train and serve others. The small groups offered reflect the people at Lakeview and continue to change and develop with the interests and needs of the people.
