Lakeview is a multi-cultural church with several families who attend regularly from many different countries. Recently we hosted “Taste of Africa” where over 250 people enjoyed a great night of fellowship and authentic dishes made by African ladies in our church. The ladies, many dressed in their African clothing, served small portions and shared their recipes to those who attended. The Africa Regional Director for the Assemblies of God also shared and answered questions.

It was in the heart of our founding Pastor, Maria Woodworth Etter, to establish a multi-ethnic, mulit-cultural church. There is a growing Latino and Asian population in our church community, which we thank God for. We celebrate the ethnic and cultural diversity, which is a foretaste of our eternal community of worshipers!
