In this Sunday’s sermon, Pastor Ron Bontrager introduced a new sermon series called 31 Days of Power, which will last through the month of October.  He asked the congregation to consider 3 questions:

1. Are We Spirit-Filled As In The Noun Or The Verb?
2. Are We More About Words Or Power?
3. Is The Pentecostal Experience Growing or Dying?

Come and join us on Saturday, October 3rd for an all church workday. Areas of work include: interior painting, gardening, cleaning, and vehicle detailing. Lunch will be provided for volunteers.

This is a night for believers to worship and seek God in His presence. Coinciding with the Spirit Series that Pastor Ron will be teaching, empowerment is all about seeking and soaking in God’s presence. We envision believers being filled or re-filled with the Holy Spirit. Families are encouraged to share this experience together. Following the service, which begins at 6:00 PM, we will enjoy dessert and fellowship on Main Street.

Join us Saturday evening from 5-6 PM at 1460 S. Belmont Ave (the corner of S. Belmont Ave and Miller street) where the original Maria Woodworth-Etter Tabernacle was located, as we pray that God would “reopen the wells” for Lakeview Church. We encourage you to read Genesis 26 in preparation for this gathering. In the event of rain, the prayer meeting will be moved indoors at that location.

This week, Pastor Ron Bontrager based his sermon on Ephesians 1:3-14, and discussed our inheritance from God.
