Lakeview’s next community outreach, Party in the Park, is scheduled for Saturday, April 11 (Easter Weekend) from 10 AM to 1 PM at Garden City Elementary.

The outreach will feature:

• 1,000 bags of free groceries
• Inflatables
• Face painting
• Balloon animals
• Egg hunt
• Lunch (hot dog/drink)
• 50 bike giveaways
• Dental and health screenings

To make this outreach a success, we need 400 volunteers.  Please sign up on Main Street for the area that most interests you.

Join us at Garden City Elementary for a prayer walk in preparation for our Party in the Park outreach. The school is located east of Lakeview on Rockville Road, on the right hand side of the street.

This Sunday, Pastor Ron Bontrager’s sermon was based on 2 Corinthians 9:7: “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” Pastor Ron described cheerful giving as generous, purposeful, and expectant.
