In this week’s sermon, based on Hebrews 11:3, Pastor Ron Bontrager discussed what having Faith helps us to understand: creation, the seasons we live in, and God.

This morning, Pastor Ron Bontrager discussed the two sides of faith, based on Hebrews 11. The first side of faith is deliverance (the realization of things hoped for), and the second side of faith is endurance (the assurance of things not seen).

This Sunday, Pastor Ron based his sermon on Ephesians 6:10-20 and the armor of God. God’s armor covers our soul (belt of truth), our spirit (breastplate of righteousness), our motives (shoes of the gospel of peace), our mind (helmet of salvation), and covers us with faith (shield of faith) and God’s Word (sword of the spirit).

In this Sunday’s message, Pastor Ron teaches the congregation how to prepare for a day of evil (which includes negative circumstances such as disease, financial problems, or a relationship meltdown) by reminding them that preparation for such a day comes from meditation, obedience and consistent prayer.
