Guest Speaker Dr. Peter Kuzmic spoke this week about missions in Eastern Europe.  Dr. Kuzmic is a professor at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and the director of the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek, Croatia. He is also founding president of Agape and New Europe Vision (evangelical relief ministries in Croatia and Bosnia).

Missionary Robby Bradford spoke this week about his missionary work in Europe.  The Bradfords, along with several other families from Lakeview, will be planting a church in Paris, France called the Bridge in 2009.

In this week’s sermon, Pastor Ron focuses on the Cross of Jesus Christ.  The blood shed on the Cross is the only thing that connects us to God, and it is the only hope of the world.

Additionally, Pastor Ron interviewed Pastor Tom Paino, Jr., Lakeview’s former pastor, during today’s services. This interview has been provided separately for you to listen to or download!

Baby Dedications are scheduled every other month.  There will be a Dedication Service on Sunday, September 21st. If you would like your child dedicated in one of the morning services, please contact Cindy at the church office at 243-9396, or sign up at the Information Center.  The last day to sign up is Monday, September 8th.  The next Dedication Service will be November 30th.

Bistro is a great way your whole family can help support local missions! On Sunday, September 14th, an amazing, homemade lunch will be available after the 11 AM service in the Children’s Auditorium.  The cost is $6/adult, $4/child, or $22/family.  All proceeds will help to fund local community outreaches.
