In this second of two connection weekends, Pastor Ron discusses how to connect through service. He challenges the congregation to connect to Christ’s model of service and connect to the church and community in service.

This week, Pastor Ron kicks off the spring 2008 semester of life groups with a sermon discussing  the necessity for Christians to connect relationally.  Using Jesus as an example, he points out ways to intentionally connect with other believers.

January is the time when many people make New Year’s resolutions. In this sermon, Pastor Ron describes what to do when you are at the point of change:

1. Listen to God before man
2. Remember you are being watched
3. Expect growth
4. Look for confirmation

Pastor Ron uses this week’s sermon to remind the congregation of Lakeview’s Mission Statement (Connecting to Christ, changing lives, impacting the world…together) and what it means. He also describes Lakeview’s core values and the focus for 2008: ONE!
